What a great year this was... Thanks to Black Mountain for stepping up and making sure we had enough snow to be able to pull event together and all the other wonderful sponsors; Whitney's Inn at Jackson, the Inn at Jackson, the Wentworth an Elegant Country Inn, the Bartlett Inn, the Lodge at Jackson Village, the Inn at Ellis River, Nordic Village Resort, the Seasons Condominium Resort, the Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club, Yesterdays, Glen Ledge Corner Store, Staples, Kringles, Flossie's General Store, Badger Realty, WMWV Radio, Conway Daily Sun, the Snowflake Inn, J-Town Deli & Country Store, the Wildcat Inn & Tavern, the Riverside Inn, the Carter Notch Inn & the Red Fox Bar & Grille without whose generous donations for rooms, product and financial support this event just could not take place. There are so many people that put time and energy into making sure events like this happen that it would be impossible to mention them all but a special thanks to Joan, SueAnn, Chris, Sally, Bobby, Don, Dick, Lori, John, Sarah, Michele, Beth and the entire staff at Black and Eastern Green.
I won't keep you in suspense any longer this year's 2010 "People's Choice" is awarded to Greg Grady and Stephen Torpazio... Picture will be posted shortly currently not pictured.
The NH Sanctioned First Place Winner is awarded to Jonathan Pullan, Stephen Pullan and Jay Tremblay who will be representing NH at the Nationals in Lake Geneva Wisconsin in 2011. The Pullan brothers have won this award in the past and represented NH quite well... There winning piece is the first picture on this page... Old Man Winter.
The Invitational First Place Winner is awarded to Bryny Urquhart and Molly Urquhart of ME. The abstract art which is the 2nd picture listed.
Photos provided by Robert Flammia of Tophat Photography and we owe the great shot of Donna Dodson and Andy Moerlein's piece at night with the exotic moon in the back ground (Almost making me forget how cold it was that night) to Andy himself (thanks Andy for this supper shot and if you would like to share more of your photography with us we would love to post it).
As a visitor we invite you to check back now and again for more exciting shots of the 2010 sculptures.
Thanks for visiting and see you again... soon.
