Hike to the Summit of Tin Mountain

Thursday, July 26, and August 16, and August 30, 10 AM -Noon

Join Tin Mountain Conservation Center for a hike to the summit of Tin Mountain. Many feet before yours have walked these paths through a northern mixed hardwood forest at Tin Mountain. Abenaki Indians, hill farmers, black bear, deer, summer campers, and school groups, have all walked this trail to the summit. At 2,031 feet, there is a scenic vista south looking over the town of Jackson. This is a moderately strenuous hike. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a trail snack.

The hikes will be led by Tin Mountain Education Staff. The cost for the program is $20/person or $50/family. Children are welcome.

Participants will meet at the lower parking lot at Tin Mountain Conservation Center, 31 Rockwell Drive, (off of Tin Mine Road), in Jackson, NH .

Reservations and payment made be made by calling 447-6991. Cash only please for walk in reservations.
