EcoForum: NH Bobcat Population

Thursday, March 14, 12-1pm
Nature Learning Center, Albany

Bobcats are the most common wild cat in the country, but how common and widely distributed are they in New Hampshire? Declining populations in 1989 led to the closure of the bobcat hunting and trapping season. How is this species currently managed and what will future conservation efforts include? Join Patrick Tate, Wildlife Biologist with NH Fish & Game, for an update on the state’s bobcat population.

The EcoForum lunchtime lecture series is sponsored by The Flatbread Company of North Conway and Frontside Grind Coffee Roasters.  EcoForums are free and open to the public and are presented at noon on the second Thursday of each month at the Tin Mountain Nature Learning Center in Albany. The community is urged to attend to learn more about salient issues facing our natural environment and to hear the views of thought-provoking speakers.
