About Snowfall Contest

Predicting when the first 6" of snow will fall in Jackson, New Hampshire can not only be fun but it could win you 50% of all ticket sales.

You can purchase your $2 entry today at participating businesses or click on tickets and gifts located at the top of our front page. Internet tickets require you to purchase at least 5 entries. Purchases for less can be made at the chamber office or other participating businesses. Check back often as our participating businesses continue to grow.

We are extremely excited as we anticipate the installation of our webcam which will record the progress of snowfalling in Jackson. Our webcam is expected to make its debut by Friday October 26th. It will be located on the Debony Spa building (where our office resides) and it will be facing the Historic Jackson Covered Bridge. During our Snowfall Competition the camera will be focused on the measuring station for the recording of the first 6" of snow to fall in Jackson during one coninuous storm. We are delighted to say that Cyrena-Marie Briede’, Director of Summit Operations at the Mount Washington Observatory and Meteorologist will be sharing her expertise with us by way of choosing the best spot for the measuring station... Thank you Cyrena-Marie Briede’.

When the contest is finished you will be able to check back often to see what is happening around our area as well as what the weather is doing! Hope you are as excited about all this as we are... Jackson is such a special place offering new and exciting things to do and see all the time.
