About Glen Oaks Inn

Glen Oaks Inn is located in the heart of the Mt. Washington Valley and offers unparalleled opportunities to savor all that is New England. The village of Intervale is perfectly positioned between the villages of Jackson and North Conway. This means that shopping, dining, White Mountain attractions, five major ski areas and of course, the National Forest are all minutes away. A restaurant is within walking distance.

The century old Victorian is located on 24 acres of wooded forest. On a quiet country road, the inn offers you a peaceful spot to relax at the end of the day. Beautiful woods, snow capped peaks and flaming foliage are all part of the package. We offer a seasonal pool on the property, as well as cross- country skiing and hiking trails right out our back door. And our packages include amenities from a late night snack to a weekend romantic retreat. Attention to detail allows us the opportunity to pamper our guests to the full extent.

Complementing our 8-room inn are our 3 cozy cottages. All rooms have queen bed, private bath, cable TV/VCR, phone, air conditioning and some with a gas fireplace. Our cottage rooms offer either a wood burning or gas fireplace, some with jetted tubs for two, CD players, small refrigerators and added privacy for all romantics.

As you enjoy our afternoon refreshments, make yourself comfortable by the fireside or on our four-season porch where guests gather to share the day’s experiences and ponder what each new day may bring. The innkeepers, Mitch & Linda will do their best to make your stay more memorable

120th Anniversary
The Glen Oaks Inn bears the distinction of having continually been a haven for travelers since it first opened in 1890. Part of the building, built in the 1835, and a section was located next door and operated as a general store for a time. It was moved to its present site in the late 1870\'s by Daniel Carlton, who then made extensive additions and opened it as The Glen Oaks Inn 1890.
Join us as we celebrate our 120th anniversary this winter. January through April, our guests will be entered in a monthly drawing to win a two- night stay at the inn! The drawing will be held at the end of each month to find out who will be that month’s lucky winner.
