Volunteer Trail Day November 5, 2011
Join the staff to help clear some cross country and snowshoe trails. Bring a lunch and water. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and work gloves. Bring nippers if you have them. It's a fun and productive day outdoors.

Annual Ski Swap and Sale November 12, 2011
Come early and shop for good used gear for xc skiing or snowshoeing. Gorham Bike and Ski in the center has special items for sale, too. If selling gear bring in to Jackson XC November 7th-11th between 8:30 and 4:30 or on Saturday before 10 am. Register items at $1 per piece, Jackson XC keeps 15% of proceeds of sold items. Proceeds support Junior programs and trail projects.

Potluck Dinner November 19, 2011
Our first potluck of the winter season. Meet at 6 pm to share apps and arrange food. Dinner at 6:30. Thom will run a quick show of last year's season, the trail repairs and new design, and feature events of new season. Call for ideas of what to bring 383-9355.

Guided Snowshoe Tour December 17, 2011

A great early season marathon to kick off racing season. Event also open to untimed/touring class skiers. Great fun and prizes, too. All registrations done on-line.

Second Annual Groomed Trail Challenge February 11, 2012
A unique ski event. Try to ski all the trails Jackson XC has groomed that day. It's usually 100+ km. Not a race but a demanding test of your trail savvy, ski technique and endurance. Registation at Jackson at 6:00 am, $10 fee. Begin skiing at 6:30 am and finish time is 5:30 pm. Return and report your mileage. Prizes for 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of trails skied. All technique and equipment allowed.
